FMCSA Makes No Changes to Hours-of-Service Rule
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has issued its highly anticipated hours-of-service regulation. The new rulemaking does not make any changes to the hours-of-service regulations, leaving all current requirements in place.
The rulemaking is in response to a July 2007 decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit that vacated the 11-hour driving limit and 34-hour restart provision.
