The Hartford Livestock Department offers:
- Equine Animal Mortality Coverage
which provides term life insurance and emergency colic
surgery expense coverage on horses. Other optional
coverage, including major medical coverage, is also
available.
- Animal Mortality Coverage which
provides term life insurance on higher valued cattle,
police or service dogs, swine, 4H/FFA animals, or more
exotic species such as bison, elk, or llamas.
- Livestock Transit Coverage on a
named or broad perils basis that covers loss to
livestock or other additionally covered property while
in transit.
- Feedlot, Pasture, and Dairy
Coverage for livestock located at operations that breed or
feed livestock for food production.
- Poultry Coverage for chickens or
turkeys located at breeding, feeding, egg-laying, or
hatchery operations.
- Swine Confinement Coverage for
swine located at locations that breed or feed swine
for food production.
- Ocean Marine Coverage that
covers loss to livestock while in international
transit.
