The Colony Group writes specialty insurance and is approved as a non-admitted insurer in 50 states, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. They focus on difficult risks that the standard market is unwilling or unable to underwrite, and they underwrite certain risks with more flexible policy terms at unregulated premium rates on a non-admitted basis. Colony products are distributed through an efficient network of appointed E&S wholesale agents and brokers.

Colony provides both non-admitted and admitted facilities, on a binding authority basis, to General Agents for the following types of garage business:

• Dealers involved in the selling and servicing of autos, new or used.
• Service operations engaged in repairing, towing, servicing, salvaging and valet parking of autos.
